Your agreement
You rent the use of a unit, not the goods in it. You are responsible for what you store, and you keep the only key to your padlock.
Payment
Rent is charged per calendar month in advance, VAT included. The half-price first month applies to units of 35 sq ft or more and is taken off your first payment. Late payments may lead to access being suspended after 14 days.
Notice
Give us seven days’ notice to leave. We refund any rent paid beyond the day you empty the unit and hand back access.
Access
The gate opens to your PIN from 6:00 to 22:00 every day. We may close the building briefly for maintenance with 14 days’ notice, except in an emergency.
Insurance
Goods must be insured for their full value, either through our contents cover or your own policy. We will ask to see your own policy before you move in.
What may not be stored
Living things, food or perishables, flammable or explosive items (including fuel, gas bottles, paint thinners and fireworks), firearms and ammunition, toxic or hazardous waste, and anything illegal or stolen. You may not live in, work from or sleep in a unit.
Our right of entry
We will only open your unit in an emergency, when the law or a court requires it, or after the process for unpaid rent set out in your agreement.
